this means either a plugin is causing an infinite loop, or something external is affecting OBS.OW

Hello! Great plugin, small issue is when I restart OBS 31.0.4 I have to go into the filters, turn on "frame check" and turn it off to get it to start working again, turning the filter off then on again does not work.
This is my filter -

Thank you!
Just FYI, 1.5.2 was crashing my OBS every few minutes, sometimes seconds. Very frustrating... So I finally put some time aside to diagnose what was causing it. I removed plugins based off what was most recently updated. When I removed yours it stopped. Reinstalled others I removed, still stopped. So installed 1.5.1. And it again stopped.
In discord, this is the feedback I got while hunting it down:
The crashes did not generate crash log files, it would just freeze obs mostly, sometimes just close out of nowhere. I dont know what else to include, if you need more info let me know.
This release has the following fixes:
- Fixes a bug where squircle and super ellipse would not always load on OBS launch.
- Adds zh-CN localization.
Release 1.5.4
Bugfixes:
- Fixes a bug where in some cases the star shape mask would not load properly on OBS launch in OBS 31.
I'm glad you like the plugin.Nice plugin! Any chance for dynamic recognition of width and height so it doesnt need to be set manualy ?
example: Alpha Mask => Shape => Rectangle => in order to give every corner like 20px radius, it requires to manualy set correct width and height of source. If source width height changes like on resize, the mask is not in place anymore.
It should work fine in OBS 32, as long as you aren’t using the new/experimental metal renderer on MacOS. If using MacOS you’ll need to use the old OpenGL renderer for now.Hi @FiniteSingularity! Thanks for the plugin. Does it work in obs 32?
Thanks for your reply. I'm on Windows, so no issue for me.It should work fine in OBS 32, as long as you aren’t using the new/experimental metal renderer on MacOS. If using MacOS you’ll need to use the old OpenGL renderer for now.
It is correct that it is no longer the recommended location, but it still is an acceptable location (with the upcoming plugin manager, all of this is going to change). With the incoming new plugin format, I'll be updating the install location of all my plugins. (The reason for not doing it sooner, is it is a big headache for folks updating the plugins using the installer).Composite Blur 1.5.2 and Advanced Masks 1.5.4 both do not install properly on a fresh install of OBS 32.0.1
in fact the installer incorrectly created a folder for and placed the files at C:\Program Files\obs-studio29-1-0
(i assume this is also the case for the rest of this creators plugins but have not yet tested)
also the OBS project no longer recommends installing to this location, instead suggesting plugins be installed to %ProgramData%\obs-studio\plugins with the appropriate directory structure
(however, why they feel the need to deviate from the install location of 13 years is beyond me)
