Question / Help Adjusting OBS

Hey guys, just started using OBS. I don't really know that much about settings so I've just put OBS on local recording and gave it a try. The recording wasn't bad, but my game lagged like crazy while I was recording it. Hope you guys find something that could help me.

Your CPU is probably the bottleneck here. An i3 is not really enough to stream and play (any) game.
What you can do is try lowering your settings quite a bit for example set the Resolution downscale to 2 and give it a test. If that is not enough you would have to reduce the compression as well, and maybe even the fps...
