Question / Help A possibly dumb question......

I just tried streaming while referencing the tutorials found in the site, and it has been running nicely with almost no performance drop and here is my question.....

I am currently streaming by using a total of 704kb of data. (640kb video + 64 kb audio, video resolution is 640x360)
And the resulting video stream quality is quite "horrible". Is there perhaps an alternate setting that could improve video streaming quality with an exchange to increased processor usage? I am thinking that perhaps the video is converting/streaming on the fastest setting in OBS and perhaps it is possible to tweak that so that OBS would optimize the video a bit more before streaming it, the increased cpu usage would be worth it in my opinion.

PS. I know my internet connection is quite horrible... There's no solving it. That's why I'm asking the question. :(

There's only so much audio and video data you can cram into that 704kbit. You're not going to be able to magically improve quality beyond what you've already done.
