A Possible Technical Hickup

Hi, I do not know if this is the right place to be posting this, I have just recently discovered an odd issue with OBS and I do not know if it is a system software issue, or an issue with my microphon/headphone head set. Only a few days ago, I gotmyself a microphone/headphone headset, when I used it for the very 1st time it worked, albeit, the mic recording on the video sounded a bit off, sorry, that is the only way I can best discribe it to you, other than it was sort of tiny souning, my voice recording that is. The soundsorce for the game capture coming from my TV monitor, was great.

Anyway, like I was saying everything worked fine. But come today, when I use my microphone/headphone headset and I record my voice, as I am trying to do comentary for a game walkthrough, but there is no sound coming from my game recording, just my voice on the microphone, like somehow my headphones have just develpoed intereference somehow or in someway with the sound of my TV monitor, which does not add up, because like I said, both had been working fine before now. So the only thing that I am left with is:

A: OBS has somewhere developped a sound problem issue between my microphone/heaphone headset and my TV Monitor or
B: My actual Microphone/Headphones Head Set if faulty

Which do you think it could be please? I really need to do the comentary for my game walkthrough. I need to know if I need to replace my current Microphone/Headphones Headset or not. I am using Windows 11 by the way.
