I'm trying to find a plugin/way that/of streaming music in my stream, without the viewers hearing any other computer sounds. For example, during the normal streaming, they hear everything (skype, game, music etc), but then i take a break or something for a couple minutes, and i switch it to an AFK scene. On this scene, i'd like to keep the music playing, without them hearing skype or anything else. Is there a way of doing this, whether it be a plugin or not. I looked it up, but the only options do it for the stream as a whole, rather than just one scene.

thanks in advance

Just use output to stream? :)
To open a mp3/other audio file just enter *.* while you browse for your files, that way you can see all file types and select your music in the plugin.

Well, for that you need to use a software that is supported by SMG. To only get the music on stream in this case you have to use a media player that allows you to select its output device (foobar, winamp, etc.) and you will need one VB-Cable or VAC Line.
The music player outputs the sound to this Cable/Line and with the DirectShow Audio Plugin you can add it to a single scene, or several scenes, just as you want to.

Well, that would be how to do it. VB-Cable is free software, winamp or foobar as well. DShow Audio Plugin can be downloaded from the ressources section. Then its just a question of setup.

Well... maybe not WinAMP. Last I heard it was being discontinued and shut down. Or was it one of those 'program reboot' stunts that companies seem to constantly pull?

Well...thats a pretty old news, and Winamp was saved right before it was shut down. Another company bought it if I remember.
