it's my first time trying to stream, i tried with XSplit and it runned pretty well, but now I'm trying with OBS and whenever I try to get a preview or something like that I get this message

could not initialize directx 10 on intel(r) graphics media accelerator 3150

is there something I need or my computer does not support OBS?

and this is probably caused because your hardware is pretty outdated

and obs needs hardware supported dx10

Error: Could not initialize DirectX 10 on Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator 3150. This error can happen for one of the following reasons:

1.) Your GPU is not supported (DirectX 10 is required - note that many integrated laptop GPUs do not support DX10)
2.) You're running Windows Vista without the "Platform Update"
3.) Your video card drivers are out of date

If you are using a laptop with NVIDIA Optimus or AMD Switchable Graphics, make sure OBS is set to run on the high performance GPU in your driver settings.

yeah thats a really old notebook or even tablet when it comes to hardware


since even my tablet can run obs and stream via qsv

but your hardware ist just outdated and when it comes to encoding the intel atom would die literally die
