Does anyone have any success getting these two to talk to each other? OBS Acknowledges the interface, but i get the no downmixer error. and Crash. Windows Shows the input coming in in its mixer. And everything is golden working with pro tools.
What do we guess?

I wish I could help you but not really sure what the issue is. would like a logfile for reference but also note that you should align the audio formats to either 44100Hz or 48000Hz which is the two options OBS gives (I believe that mixer does 48000Hz). I'm assuming that the mixer software manages the inputs and outputs as well?

I do not know how to get you a log file. I am not a pro OBS user by any means. If you dont mind telling me how I don't mind doing the work. yes the Mixer is 48k. The mixer does not have a software mixer that operates on the PC. Its all internal in the mixer. My PC audio setting also reflect the 48k.

AS of right now Im going to attempt to run a Matrix out of the mixer into a line in on the PC and see if that works as opposed to the USB input.

This is how you do a logfile. I just need the link not the text.

Anyway, from the video I watched from A&H, you need to program the mixer for certain channels to inout/output to the mixer via the USB then use the software to manage the lines. It would be best to make sure that those lines stay enabled throughout OBS running. it might be having issues if the channels suddenly disappear.

I also consulted this video. I have the channels all set and routed properly. I understand the mixer very well. Apparently though something is wrong cause OBS is not receiving any output channels. regardless of the fact that the PC is acknowledging the inputs.

No I haven't. I didn't even know it existed. Ill give it a go. I cant do any of the other tests I want to do until i get to the store to purchase an adapter later.

So that didn't solve anything. I do however enjoy this layout far more. Im obviously missing something. Just no idea what.
Do what happens? logfile? how are you setting the audio input? are you setting it as a mic or aux input? you can create a source that is an audio device from the sources section in OBS studios.

I cant seem to get the source from the mixer to OBS to function. It says it is there. the windows mixer tray shows the source is going through. I read somewhere that OBS doesnt support ASIO devices. But I used OBS with my Saphire pro 40 just last month.
