Question / Help 6700k not good enough for 720p?

I have a 6700k and I have been trying to stream with it. The problem I have while streaming is the box at the bottom right goes yellow and red and drops frames. I have been testing it out and it does it while not even gaming. I did have a 5960x which I got fairly cheap but sold it seeing as how I could get a motherboard and 6700k for the price. I'm starting to think it was a big mistake. I have tried 2500kb encoding 720p at 30 and 60 fps and just don't know how to get it working.

The build is 16GB Ram
980ti zotac amp extreme
6700k Water cooled.
Windows 10 pro OS

You didn't post a log file, so the best you're going to get are wild guesses. I agree with Harold so far, your internet upload capability isn't good enough, which has nothing to do with the CPU.

My internet is 50 down and 5 up. I forgot to mention that it also usually says high cpu encoding and didn't really think it should.
