Edit: When you search for OBS in the start menu, you have two options show up: 1 says 32 bit, the other is 64 bit. You can run both if you PC is 64 bit capable. To figure this out, try running the 64 bit shortcut and see if it opens. If it does, you have a 64 bit PC.

How can I tell if my computer is running a 32-bit or a 64-bit version of Windows?
To find out if your computer is running a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows in Windows 7 or Windows Vista, do the following:
1. Open System by clicking the Start button , right-clicking Computer, and then clicking Properties.
2. Under System, you can view the system type.
