Hello I have never been ever tech savvy and am running into some issues, I have a 64 bit pc but the OPS is convinced to stay 32 bit I have linked and tryed some things I read in this forum below to no avail. I have Uninstalled and Reinstalled more times then I can count and its becoming the frustraiting wtf stage for me here.

The program its self seems to run fine and does screen capture fine. However If I wanted it to fallow percise windows or what not from. Game Capture it seems to just go No I dont like that like the most picky child I have ever met that wanted a browny with sprinkles and not cookie crumble. And am trying to

So I have deleted that thing said above and reinstalled direct x and then uninstalled OBS to reinstall since apprantly its stuck in 32 bit when am 64 bit. However I noticed it seems to keep its memory and files stored even if I uninstalled through controll panel programs ect. So Am wondering if its hard written somewhere and saved in some sort of settings as well.

Even werider.. I just read about the 64 bit file went into it tryed running it..but now its saying..That these windows/ programs require the 32 bit..but the 32 bit version...says they require the 64 bit.. What do I even do about that?

I was trying to get Thief 2 the Metal Age to show with its new unofficial patch. I eventually found a way to window everything and use software capture but, I might just be a tad picky to want to do LPS with full screen with game capture but, I found out that reading some threads here my pcs video card may be unfriendly to such.

It was strange to note though that OBC thought the game that was 32 bit was needed for 64 bit but when run in 64 bit would tell me I needed 32 bit. As a other note.

I'm still not sure what the problem is. Are you trying to use game capture with Thief2? If the game is 32bit, then you need to start the 32bit version of OBS(for now at least).

ya thats the thing it says its 32 bit. Will be just jet black I think. Which is a other issues. It seems to react this way with most of my none windowed steam games as well.

If it uses a directx version under 9, then game capture will not work. Game capture only supports directx 9, 10, 10.1, 11, and opengl

From what I was able to find out, it seems to use DirectX 7.
