Question / Help 60fps footage stutters

I am using OBS for newer games that Fraps would otherwise lag when recording (and so I can use facecam), but for some reason, raw 720p60fps footage badly shutters during playback and editing. I have little to no lag during actual recording. I can do 720p30fps just fine and I can record some games (indie and old games) with Fraps at 50-60fps with no problems.

But no matter what settings I do, the footage remains horrible and stuttery. I am not sure what to do.

If you've followed ALL of the steps in that guide, please post a logfile from a recording session and we can take a look; we really do need the log to be able to help, otherwise.

Just use the 'upload' function from the Help menu, and paste the URL it gives. No need to zip it up.

It's CRF, not cfr. And 5 is pretty low; I wouldn't go below 20, especially with that CPU. It's pretty old, and weak.

Also, ENable Aero. Disabling it to improve performance is bad information from back in the Vista days, when it actually used to be bad. Now, Aero actually makes OBS run faster and smoother. Make sure 'disable aero' isn't checked in the settings, and that you're using an Aero-enabled theme in Personalization.

Well, firstly. I didn't type any of that. I just got the log from the site, downloaded the zip, and uploaded it here. Anyway, I did some tests, and no matter what settings I tried, the 60fps footage would stutter. I am not sure what to do.

Fix the above two issues; enable Aero, and fix the 'cfr=5' to 'crf=5' (or preferably 20) in your settings. Then test again, and post a new logfile from a session at least 5 minutes in length. We need to see what's happening with proper settings to continue the troubleshooting process.
