Question / Help 3440x1440p resolution downscale

Hey guys. Trying to get back into streaming but have ran into a problem. I recently purchased a LG 34UM95 monitor with a resolution of 3440x1440p. Was wondering if there was anyway to downscale the picture to 1080p or 720p for streaming. The only downscale options I have leave black bars on the bottom of the stream. I've tried fit to screen without any luck. Thanks!

Well, your Monitor uses 21:9 format, so the black bars are normal if you try to watch it in a 16:9 player (for example on twitch.tv) I would recommend to use the black space in OBS and add a graphic, some info text or a now playing song indicator. Alternatively just stream in 21:9 format. You can of course also stretch the image in OBS, but that will distort the picture slightly and is not really recommended, if you want to read more about aspect ratios:
