Question / Help 32 bit download?

Hi everyone,

I use elgato video capture (not game capture) to gather footage from my console to the computer. It works great, but the only problem is that requires the 32 bit version of OBS, instead of 64.

OBS began crashing on me last month, so i tried to install the lastest version without realizing it wouldn't work because it's 64 bit. Does anyone have the more recent update to their 32 bit version? And how can I stop crashes?

The installer installs both versions. The 32bit version is in C:\Program Files (x86)\OBS.

It's still not working :/ Are you sure that this is the place for the 32-bit? When i reinstall it tells me the last time it was modified was still last month, and there's only one icon for the application in this folder. There's not a 32-bit app and then a 64-bit app, right?

The 32bit version is in C:\Program Files (x86)\OBS and the 64bit version is in C:\Program Files\OBS.

I understand now, thank you. I eventually just had to rollback to an earlier version. For some reason the later versions past June of 2014 weren't allowing my capture card to stream. Thanks for your help, but now I have another problem lol. I posted a new thread. Not sure if you care enough to help there too.

What was the actual problem you were having? Were you getting an error message? The current version of OBS should work with Elgatos.
