30 Second Recordings

I recorded about an hour of footage earlier but my computer crashed at one point and now I lost the majority of my recording and it only saved random bits of it. some being 4 minutes and some around 15 seconds. I was if there is a way to stop this from happening. Please help.

Check the hardware and Windows drivers of your PC and make sure it doesn't crash randomly.

As baseline how often a Windows 10 PC might crash, I tell about my PC at home. My PC didn't crash yet this year (2020). I use it daily for hours, play several games, record with OBS, and do office work and keep it up to date with Windows update. It doesn't crash. A well-designed Windows 10 PC doesn't crash more often that once or twice a year. I also use PCs at work, actually laptops, and these also don't crash more often. If your PC crashes more often, it is defective or not well designed (and might be replaced with a more stable one).
