Hi, currently i stream fps at 60fps 720p and just find its making my game stutter too much. i play fairly competitive and still want to stream alot more than i do so was looking at a 2nd pc for streaming.

just wondered what people thought of this, ive got a spare 500w psu and 60gb ssd that i'll use with it.

my current setup is i5 3570k, 8gb 2400mhz ram, gtx 660ti. i also have i5 2500k / gtx 770 / 8gb on z68 motherboard which i use at my nans(2-3 nights wk) so i'm just wondering if i can just get a 3770k for my main pc, swap the 3570k for the 2500k and use the 2500 in the stream pc at my nans, the 3770k + gtx770 in a single pc setup?

that way be able to stream from both locations lol..

just wondering man its frustrating now

any ideas people?

thanks

You really don't want to use a dual core CPU, even if it's just a dedicated encoding box. You want at least a quad core for 720p60fps.

Honestly, I would grab that 2500k rig, swap GPUs, and use the 2500k+670 as a streaming rig. That would be more than sufficient for 720p60fps streaming. Heck, you could actually just make use of the iGPU on the 2500k if your motherboard allows it and save on power/fan noise.
