Question / Help 2560x1080 MP4 video is black

Yes i could do that but thats kind of annoying xD

2560x1080 worked before it just stopped for some reason

 
Well im on a different OS (Win7) but even stock OBS settings wont work with mp4 2560x1080

I have all my drivers up to date. I tried the Nvidia encoder and the CPU encoder both have the same result
 
Given the damage-prone nature of the mp4 container, you're actually better off going the remuxing route than the record-as-mp4 route.

You might try the settings from the high quality recordings guide in the guides section of the forums, but flv then remux ends up wasting less footage in case of a crash (OBS or computer including power outage that knocks your computer off) than sticking with mp4
