Question / Help 2 Webcams - Both can be selected but one does not show pic

So I have two different webcams plugged in. I have a Logitech one for my main cam and a Microsoft Live Cam as my intened "keyboard" cam.

Both show up in "Video Capture Device" and when I go to add the keyboard cam, the red "edit" box shows up but no picture. Any idea why no picture is showing up? I know the camera works because my GF used to use it on her PC until I took it back to throw up a keyboard cam on stream.

Unless I'm mistaken, your log file only says you're using one, and I don't see an error for the other. It's like it's not actually even in the scene.

Usually the red box indicates improperly installed drivers, from my experience. Especially a webcam trying to use the built-in Windows vidcap stuff. Did you actually install the webcam drivers properly, or just plug it into a free port and hope it'd work right off?

I'd also recommend using Device Manager's "view devices by connection" option to ensure your webcams are on separate USB host controllers, so they aren't stepping on each other's bandwidth needs (as that c920 definitely will, in 1080p mode).

The red screen is often a FPS/resolution mismatch, if not a driver issue. Hard to say, since the log does not show the second webcam in use.

The log that it made was on the 30th, there wasn't one on the 31st when i tried to use the 2 webcams. I'll toss it up again and hope a log is made.
