Question / Help 2 pc streaming setup audio passing

Ok, so I have begun using a 2 pc setup for streaming and recording and I encountered a problem I overlooked during the build, I cannot get the audio from the gaming rig to appear on the OBS on the streaming rig.

Here is a list of the equipment I am using

ALTO ZMX 122 mixing board
Scarlett 2i2 usb interface
Breakaway Live (software)
OBS
Avermedia U3 capture card
2 TRS cables running from main mix out on the board to the interface

I purchased a 3.5mm to dual 1/4" cable to run from the gaming rig soundcard to to AUX input on the mixing board with the hopes of passing the audio through the board to the scarlett but it doesn't appear to have worked.

Any thoughts?

Here is a link to my setup http://s1223.photobucket.com/user/arifmit/library/Streaming rig

On one of the pictures, your AUX In volume is set to 0 I think. But I am a bit confused by the whole wire setup and what do you use Breakaway Live for? :)

Not sure a simple stereo mix setup will help, especially since he has everything pretty much setup already with an expensive mixer and usb interface :D

Thank you so much for your reply Jack. I was doing some testing with my a friend in TS and the music sounds super compressed and distorted. I have linked a file here as well as the YouTube to the original song to let you get an idea of the original quality.

I have checked all my drivers and they are currently up to date.

To answer your question about Breakaway live, I use it for my podcast to route the sound from Teamspeak/Skype into SAM broadcaster and output the audio as a whole through one line.

the BL setup is as follows

Input 1: Scarlett 2i2
Output 1: Line 1
Input 2: Line 2 <<<<<< audio supplied from skype/TS
Output 2: Line 1
Input 3: Line 2
Output 3: Scarlett 2i2

One thing about the BL setup, isnt there a "double":
Scarlett to Line 1
Line 2 to Line 1
Line 2 to Scarlett (which goes to Line 1)

Apart of that, I am not used to BL, but I guess it seems similar to Virtual Audio Cable. On VAC such distortions happen if the timings between two audio devices are of. So one starts drifting away from the other and sooner or later creates under or overflows which then often creates distorted sound.
You could test if the "Realtime Priority" is needed, it is not recommended on VAC. See if more Buffers help. Oh, and where exactly does the distortion start. Can you hear the music fine in your headset for example but its "only" bad in skype?

Ok will do. I hear the distortion on the streaming pc's TS. I can hear fine in the headphones but its on TS is where the distortion occurs. Ill check the RT settings.

Ok so I went through both computers sound settings and readjusted everything to be the same bit rate and now it appears to be fine. I will keep this post updated as well as attach a video i make to show people in the future how to do this. Thank you for all your help and I will be sure to ask if i have anymore questions.

Thank you, I will look at your settings and see if i am doing anything differently

Can you post me an actual picture of your setup? and do you use any software like Breakaway of VAC?
I dont use any software at all.

All my computers and consoles route to the mixer, and then I simply manage the audio there.

If I want skype on a separate line, I have a couple USB to analog "Sound cards" that I use, and so main system audio goes to the mixer on one cable, and then skype or other audio gets routed via the soundcard via another cable.

Ill get some pictures tonight, warning: ITs messy as hell(GOnna move soon so no point in cleaning it up)
