Question / Help 2 PC setup with different resolutions

My main computer has a ROG Swift 27" 1440P monitor, my second computer has a 1080P monitor which im running Avermedia Live Gamer HD on.

The problem is, to get video signal from the Avermedia card i need to clone my main monitor With the avermedia card. That ruins the display quality extremely, i get only 1080p on my main computer.

There is no way to just extend the desktop and somehow get OBS or Xsplit to capture the game?
Really want to play normally while streaming it through my second computer.

Yes, extend the desktop to the Avermedia (instead of cloning), then have a second copy of OBS on the gaming PC and then use OBS in projector mode (disable encoding while previewing). you enable the projector by hiting preview then right clicking ont he preview then selecting the avermedia (display) to clone it to. you'll have to setup a game capture on the game PC for the game you want to play.

Once you get the picture to the avermedia, you're good.
