I never bought a monitor based on it having G-Sync & never will. But, it's basically VFR & OBS records CFR so something has to give. Run you monitor fixed refresh @ 120 & if your GPU struggles to maintain 120 drop it 60.

Potatos, calm the hell down dude. What the hell? I know its frustrating as hell. Its literally impacting my job. But its also completely free and they are not obligated to fix your problems.

I'm going to give it a few more days of streams/tests, but my solution in previous message may have done the trick, or at least made it much better. Need more time. I will let you guys know if it has worked.

Yo great news Tuna! Glad you found a solution. I'll keep this in mind and/or give it a go as well, i think mine is okay for now, but can't be 100% sure as most games just run like SHIT these days even on the best hardware.

How are you running your gaming rig? In game settings for example? VSYNC on? Frame cap at 60? Etc.

nope everything normal like,v-sync on in global settings,no frame cap,in the video i think u can see if not i can put a picture in here, print screen,u just change in nvidia panel that for obs go to program settings choose obs and choose fixed refresh in monitor technology, use 3d aplication setting in vertical sync and in preferred refresh rate choose application controlled only that! and in obs! the rest put it normal like a g-sync monitor will be working.v-sync on, g-sync compatible etc but in global, then just change that in obs in nvidia!

Im glad you got your problem fixed Tuna, but that didn't help me fix mine unfortunately. I hope your fix helps someone else. I actually grabbed a log again last night after some testing, and noticed this:

Critical Max Audio Buffering
Audio buffering hit the maximum value. This is an indicator of very high system load, will affect stream latency, and may even cause individual audio sources to stop working. Keep an eye on CPU usage especially, and close background programs if needed.

Occasionally, this can be caused by incorrect device timestamps. Restart OBS to reset buffering.

Source affected (potential cause): [V] Screen Capture

Log File: https://obsproject.com/logs/zENO0XLUZSQ75jc9

This is very interesting and first sort of lead I've had. Something is affecting the capture card, but im not capturing audio via cap card, i use a hardware mixer. I don't know how to read the logs or identify the problem, if anyone in here can see what might be causing it, i would really appreciate it!

Completely new scene collection with just the capture card.

I stopped reading the 1st log when I got to StreamElements. Haven't looked at the 2nd log yet but [V] Screen Capture appears to be an issue.

Indeed! Finding it hard to recreate the "Critical Max Audio Buffering", happened a couple times, but its intermittent. Just ran another record and ran around game for a few minutes, this time its telling me "0.2% GPU Encoder Overload" and "0.2% Rendering Lag".

If i keep running tests, will likely result in the original error again.

Just *appears* random, but the problem(s) are consistent. Basically, bad intermittent stuttering, skipped frames / capture on the streaming PC via the capture card - which has more than enough juice to go round. GPU and CPU are barely scratching 20%/10% usage each according to Task Manager.

Hmmm that 44100 sample rate might be causing some problems here, but i don't know where to find that! Its not on the Elgato Facecam? At least not in the Sound settings, and no sound settings in the Elgato software. EDIT: Yeah, this webcam doesn't capture audio.

I did just run another quick test, with new profile + scene. No errors reported in the analysis, but i AM still seeing the intermittent stuttering/frame skips.

3 AM now, another late ass night trying to figure this thing out.

Thanks for your help Rockbottom.

Look at your log, lots of SE errors. Plus the Plugins, media sources, ect. It all adds up. I keep my set-up easy so troubleshooting is a breeze.

P7 might be a stretch here.
