So yeah, i know this has been asked probably 100+ times but i cant find a solution through those 100+ threads i've read so i thought why not make my own one where i can cry more about how tired i am off my 2pc setup not working fully

I will post the obs LOG tomorrow (2015-05-27, Europe)

Computer specs (if this is having anything to do with it)

Gaming pc:
  • CPU: i7 3770k
  • GPU: 7970 vapor-x 3ghz
  • RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16gb
  • KBD: Razer blackwidow 2013
  • MOUSE: Steelseries Sensei
  • MNTR: BenQ 120hz XL2420T
Streaming pc:
  • CPU: AMD FX-8350 Black Edition 4Ghz
  • GPU: Nvidia 560ti 1GB
  • RAM: Corsair 8gb
  • MNTR: BenQ 60hz
  • CPT CARD: Avermedia LiveGamer HD PCI-E
So yeah, go ahead and just try out what ever knowledge you have with this problem and i'll give it a shot and see if the results is any different.

I'm using 1280x720p 60fps on capture card, NO downscaling in OBS. HDMI from gaming pc to capture cards HDMI in slot.

In my Radeon control center it says the avermedia is at 1920x1080, 60hz which i cant change at all since it's cloned to my gaming monitor which is at 1920x1080, 120hz (This really shouldnt be the problem)

Link of VOD from livestream where you can clearly see the tearing at the wall of the building - http://www.twitch.tv/denkimore/b/662735242?t=1h44m04s

If you cant see it, try pausing the video or buy some new glasses or you need laser surgery :)

Anyways it's 3 AM here and i got school tomorrow so i'll be heading of to bed, i'll be back tomorrow checking in on the thread, hopefully you guys might have any ideas that i haven't tried yet, (if it's possible, i've tried so freaking much, hehe) Good night!

I'm at work so I'm not going to open your Twitch link. But when you clone your screen to a different FPS than your primary screen, you get tearing. Not sure if that's your problem, but given the limited information you've provided, that's my guess.

Hey i've tried using 60 hertz on my screen aswell and it unfortunately dosen't change the tearing. I've also read in some other thread that it should not be a problem using more then 60hz on your main screen he was using 144hz and it worked out for him somehow, note that i read his thread and what fixed it for him did not fix it for me.

Just watched the vod, it is pretty bad tearing. I still think its because you've cloned your screen at a different framerate. You might try putting a normal monitor on that cloned port as a test and see if you can see the tearing on it as well.
