Question / Help 2 monitors?

Hello everyone.

I'm getting into streaming and I would like to get a second screen.
I'm not sure which one (or which ones) to get.

I'll use my primary screen to game and my second screen to check twitch chat, monitor obs and so on.
Any recommendations?

This is my GFX card:
Geforce GTX 980 TI Gaming 6G

Atm I got this screen: Samsung S24D590L.. I am willing to buy 2 new ones tho.

I don't know what you are asking exactly. you can get whatever monitor you like. I would recommend size and resolution to be equal though, but that is just a general thing to ensure that going from one to another monitor doesn't seem weird.

aside from that, don't use twitch's dashboard since watching your own stream evenin a small preview can cause performance issues even on high end PCs. use a popout chat instead.

Well I can imagine that I was abit unclear.
Anyway: I am not really into screens or anything and I was wondering if there are things I should take into account when buying 1 or 2 screens and if anyone had specific screens in mind for me.

In the past I just bought any screen with the right connector. I can use some general tips like "your gaming screen should have xms of delay, should use HDMI, ..."

Since you are not gaming on that monitor, it will not really matter. unless I'm misunderstanding what you are asking.

Well I'm probaply getting 2 screens so.. I can imagine that the second screen quality doesn't really matter much, but since I will get 2 screens I could use some tips on which screens would make a great duo :)
 
Er. A matched pair would work. Or anything with the same resolution, and physical size should be good enough.

well again if you plan to use them all. Most streamers just need 1 extra screen.
