laptops are horrible encoders. it is possible but usually not much advantage from a good desktop. especially with options like NVENC, quicksync, VCE that use the GPUs hardware encoder. Yes these aren't as good quality wise per the same bitrate but anything is better than a laggy stream or PC right?
