Question / Help 2.7k Bitrate to 0, then Disconnect

I've been having this issue for quite awhile where I'll go from 2.7k bitrate to 0, then it will disconnect. I'm working with my ISP to try and find the solution. I'm pretty sure it's my ISP's fault, but I just want to cover all the bases. I've tried multiple servers and even lowered my bitrate down from 3200, as well as my CPU Preset from Fast to Very Fast. I have a 50Mbps down/10Mbps up connection. When this disconnect issue occurs, my ISP's tier 2 techs say that my upstream is capping out. How is that even possible? Below are the logs for Saturday's test stream that the tier 2 tech said my upstream was capping out. I've dealt with this issue for almost a month, any assistance?

Up side. This does not look like a DDoS. You'd be dropping a TON of frames.
Down side. It's the RTMPPublisher 'giving up' after it's unable to send successfully for 4.6 seconds.

It's like your connection dropped completely; fell off the face of the earth, just black-holed (or active-rejected).
As I'd said via e-mail, this still looks like an issue on the ISP's end. They're just making up more excuses.

Even if you were running an open AP and someone jumped on it and started torrenting stuff, you wouldn't see that kind of hard cut-off; just lots more dropped frames. This appears more to be the modem REFUSING to accept/send any traffic. But you'd need a transparent monitoring solution to confirm that the traffic isn't coming from inside your network. If you had a Linux machine acting as a NAT device ('home router'), you could use bmon and netwatch to confirm the traffic spike (bmon), and track down which host was sending it (netwatch). After that it'd be playing whack-a-mole on that machine to figure out what was doing it.

I'd still say it's your ISP just feeding you yet another line to try and shirk responsibility, though.

It actually is an isolated problem. Everyone has different network issues, you just need to find out what they are. Maybe your ISP is crap, maybe you have a broken router, maybe you have interfering 3rd party software. There's many different reasons for network errors and it's not a problem with OBS.

I'm aware that it's probably my ISP, if you checked my thread, I said so.
