Question / Help 1920x1080 set but recording is bit smaller

Hallo,

my english is not the best but i have a try...

first i have to say that obs is a fine tool.
I can record Desktop and Games as well with mic and game output.
And the options with the text und picture add (ect.) are nice too.

But there is one thing that i cant figure out.

The recording (it dosnt matter mp4 of flv) has always cut a bit of the screen on every edge. (left, right, top bottom)

The resolution is set to 1920x1080 in the OBS settings (i got a 27" with same resolution)
ctrl F to scale it to screen doesnt solve the problem.

Its like i said before - i can record everything fine. But the Edges of the Screen are cut of a bit in the recorded file.

If preview is fine, then OBS is recording the file correctly. Try another video player first, such as MPC/VLC, and see if it happens there.

omg... i try WMP and PowerPVD but they dont show the correct resolution.
Other HD media like a blu ray will be played correctly.
Do you know why they cut of the edges like this?

FLV works fine.

A log file might be helpful. Also the media info from the .mp4 created by OBS.
