Question / Help 144hz Monitor only showing 60fps while streaming

Hi,
When I try to stream on my 144hz gaming monitor(60fps) OBS makes my game only show 60fps instead of 120/144fps which makes me perform even worse.
How can I use my monitor without OBS lowering the framerate that much?(By the way, I know my computer can handle streaming/recording so it's not a problem like that).
Also, it says in game that I have 150fps but the monitor only shows 60fps or lower.

are you using monitor capture? I definitely don't have that issue.

I'm currently using Window Capture for CS:GO but I've tried Monitor Capture as well with the same problem.

Why not use game capture?

I get a black screen from CS:GO if I do that.

Hmm, putting CS:GO in fullscreen instead of windowed borderless made it work. Now I just have to deal with not being able to tab out of the game as fast.

Anyway, glad you got it fixed I guess. It's supposed to work with game cap and borderless windowed, mind you. I have done it multiple times before. I dunno why yours seems to be broken O_O

It's probably my computer, I've had bad luck with everything on this even though it's brand new :S
