Question / Help 1080p smooth settings

Hi everyone.

I'd like to cast new games like Far Cry, AC, Dishonored etc. with 1080p settings on twitch.
What are the best setting for 30fps and 60fps casts?

My hardware - i7 4770, GTX 780ti, 16gb DDR
When I cast on default settings 3000 bitrate World of Wrarcaft I can see pixels and the picture isnt smooth enough during boss encounters.
However popular casters like LIRIK have realy good smooth picture.

You aren't going to get a great picture at 1080p30 and 3 Mbps playing Warcraft, there's simply too much motion. With a 4790 you can get away with changing your x264 preset to fast or maybe even medium, but compression isn't going to work any miracles.

x264 Settings: vbv-maxrate: 3400 vbv-bufsize: 3400

on faster preset

thats why the fonts have a decent quality compared to 720p

and the 60fps are the reason why it is so smooth

What about NVENC? Or x264 is better for casting now?

NVENC (and QSV to an extent, depending on your iGPU) is a low-quality band-aid for those lacking a CPU fast enough to handle x264 and game at the same time.
