Question / Help 1080p/30 on a potato

i'm pretty new to OBS. please don't bully me lmao
i want to just record roblox @ 1080p/30, or at least 720p/30

my laptop is the literal definition of a potato.

> intel core i7-8th gen
> *sigh* intel uhd 620

yeah i know my setup sucks. but since i'm playing just roblox, is there any way to hit 1080p at smooth fps? can anyone walk me through the settings. i'm not very good at this. thanks.

Aim for 720p30.

sorry if i scale from 1080p to 720p what scaling do i use?

Don't scale. Set your canvas resolution to 1280x720. Scaling doesn't cost much but scaling output means you get the full load of rendering 1080p30 without 1080p30 output.

when i set canvas as 720p, it only captures the top left corner of my screen.

To fit your sources to the screen (canvas), right-click your source(s)->Transform->Fit to screen
