Question / Help 1 TB HD: How long can I record until full at 1080p?

I was going to pick up a 1TB HD dedicated for storing footage that I capture. I will be recording at 1920x1080. Does anyone know roughly how long I would be able to continuously record until the HD space is used up?

That depends entirely on the bitrate.

I would try recording for like 10 minutes and then work it out from whatever the size of that file. For example if that was 100GB (it won't be), then that would be you could record for 100 minutes.
