Faders lets each Twitch viewer set their own voice, game and music levels. Your stream doesn't change.

WHAT IT DOES
The plugin sends three of your OBS audio tracks (voice, game, music) as separate layers to the Faders relay. Viewers with the free Faders browser extension (Chrome, Edge, Firefox on desktop) get Voice, Game and Music sliders on the Twitch player, and each viewer's mix is theirs alone. Everyone else, including mobile and TV viewers, hears your normal stream. Track 1 to Twitch is untouched.

Live demo: twitch.tv/faderstv (needs the extension)

HOW IT WORKS
- Default tracks 2/3/4 = voice/game/music, configurable in Tools > Faders
- Opus 48 kHz stereo, about 380 kbps upload while someone is listening, 0 when nobody is
- Pauses with no listeners and keeps a 60-second buffer for the first one who joins
- Warns you if the track you actually stream goes silent
- Shows an update notice but never updates itself

SETUP
1. Sign in at faders.tv/portal with Twitch (Faders never posts to or changes your account)
2. Close OBS and run the installer (Windows .exe or macOS .pkg, both signed)
3. Create a plugin key in the portal
4. In OBS, open Tools > Faders and paste the key
5. In Edit > Advanced Audio Properties: mic to Track 2, game to Track 3, music to Track 4. Keep Track 1 ticked on everything as that is routed to Twitch.
6. Go live

REQUIREMENTS
OBS Studio 32+, Windows 10/11 x64 or macOS 13+, a Twitch channel. Not supported yet: Linux, Streamlabs Desktop, YouTube.

PRICING
The plugin and extension are free, and viewers never pay. The Free plan covers up to 25 listeners at once. Pro is US$15/mo for up to 1,000 listeners and higher quality. Extra listeners over the cap just hear normal Twitch audio.
