Hey there. Yep, I am aware of the problems with nico.

Primarily, the AAC issue: setting bitrate on AAC below 128kb/s does not work, and it's a problem with the AAC encoder itself. I'll have to replace the encoder. We're currently rewriting the whole application, and will allow hopefully for a better encoder.

Other than that, I'm pretty sure it works to some extent, but nico limits you to 380/480 total kb/s. It leaves you with so little room to stream. How on earth do you guys manage to actually do anything with so little bandwidth? Someone in japan really needs to make an actual proper live streaming service local to japan.
