Question / Help Freeze when minimized

Hey,

everytime i minimize my game, i get a freeze on the stream until i switch back to the game.

How can i fix this Problem?

Games do not draw anything when they are minimized, so there's nothing to capture. There's no way to "fix" this. You can run the game in borderless windowed mode (if available), in which case the game will usually render even when alt+tabbed away from it.

Good that I found this topic :-) I have the same problem, that the game freezes if I minimize it in Full Screen Mode.
However it´s not true what you wrote about "not possible". I have streamed a few games (I think they are working on OpenGL, maybe that´s why) and it continues normaly streaming, while my game is minimized. So maybe there is a way to "fix" this problem with DirectX Games also? XD

I was also sure at the beginning, that there are no games that can be streamed in full screen, while they are minimized, but I found some games :-)

I'm sorry, but that's impossible. You were most likely running whatever game(s) it is you're speaking of in borderless fullscreen window mode rather than actual fullscreen mode. Games that are running in fullscreen mode do NOT render anything when they don't have focus, please don't resurrect an old topic for something like this.
