Zoom with a PowerPoint presentation that has videos with audio

Hi, I am trying to use OBS to give talks on Zoom that show both me with a camera, my voice with a microphone, and a PowerPoint presentation that contains videos with sound.

My first attempt was to create a scene with all of the above, use a virtual camera with OBS, and set up vb-audio to stream the audio to zoom as a microphone. This was problematic because zoom optimizes sound from the microphone and it optimized the sound from the videos in my presentation.

Then I tried to use the "Share Screen" feature with zoom and choose the virtual camera as the screen to share, but then the audio and video of myself talking were not in sync (the video lagged).

Have anyone faced a similar situation? Can anyone suggest a solution?

Thanks!

I would install the NDI plugin for OBS and the NDI tools

The NDI plug in gives you an option in the tools menu of OBS to have an NDI output of the program window.
NDI tools has a tool, (Webcam Input) that will convert the NDI output of OBS into a virtual camera with audio that are In Sync.
Connect the virtual camera / audio to ZOOM.
There is a possible bug in NDI tools? sometimes after a Windows Update it ceases to work, reinstalling the tools restores their operation.

Thanks! Why would using NDI help? I'm not sure I got it
As I understand it NDI is useful to combine streams from multiple devices, and here I'm only using one PC

I understand NDI is designed to use on a network but it work on a single computer also.

So what part of this do you need help with?
Composing all the sources in OBS?
Or getting the audio / video out of OBS in to ZOOM ?

Harvey S... can I jump into this conversation as I'm a newbie working on a similar problem.

I have an obsStudio set up with several scenes, from 2 remote cameras, from a still and from a media source. It is the media source that is frustrating me. It is a 90 second mp4 video with sound. I've gotten it to play with sound in the obsStudio software; performs exactly the way I want.

But... I need to get this out to a zoom meeting. I turn on the obsStudio virtual Camera to broadcast these scenes.
Over on Zoom I set my video input to the obs virtual camera. When I play the media clip though I get the visual part but no audio goes out on Zoom!
I've tries selecting various inputs for sound/microphone/etc on the controlling computer (running Windows 11) but so far nothing has worked for me.

Thoughts/suggestions?

Hi, did this point ever get resolved? I have the same problem. I am trying to get a video in Powerpoint to get its sound out into zoom. I can hear it when I run it in my computer, but the recipients of the zoom call hear nothing. If I then share sound, the presentation stops when I simply move from one window to the next. I am using a Mac.
