Zoom Share Screen scenario -issue

I could see zoom meeting by capturing window feature and see in OBS preview and the same can be streamed in you tube. It is working picture perfect. But when I start sharing something in the zoom meeting, that content is not transmitting/seen in OBS preview. The OBS preview screen is showing blank or grey. When I stopped sharing in Zoom meeting, everything is normal and I can see the zoom meeting proceedings. Could someone help here?

Not sure if this is what's happening for you, but:

Whatever you are sharing in Zoom must not be covered by any other window or popup - if there's even part of a window or popup on top of the window you are sharing, you'll see a grey rectangle of the same shape blocking the shared content.

Try a separate, secondary monitor - open the window you're going to share in there - and then try using that as a source in OBS.

I experienced the same. Zoom window captured by OBS and restreamed to Facebook Live working perfect. But when I shared screen or window, OBS showed nothing. Tomorrow I'll try the secondary monitor advice. Thanks

The secondary monitor didn't work. I tried with Wirecast and I got the same problem. Maybe a security issue in MacOs Catalina... I missed my old Windows machine :(

I had this same issue and I got it fixed. I changed the capture method to windows graphics capture and it worked! Now I can share and capture using obs
