Hi,
I am assuming this is a simple thing, but searching zoom is hard on this as it comes up with a million lens zoom references.
Anyway, I need to use the Zoom L12 interface (pc) through Audition for podcast recording, but wish to capture the mixdown into an OBS stream at teh same time.
I thought I had it sorted but it only recorded track one on the zoom.
any thoughts would be appreciated.

derek

Are you trying to capture the L12 in OBS separate from Audition, or are you using Audition as a man-in-the-middle?

If the former, I assume there is a master mix device you can select in your recording devices.

If the latter, make sure you're sending the master mix to whatever device you're using as your output.

thanks for the reply. I havent been able to find any master mix option (bypassing audition) . perhaps there is something i have missed.

This is straight from the manual...

The L-12 can be used as a 14-in/4-out USB audio interface. After applying its compressor, each input channel always outputs its signal to the corresponding USB audio channel. Channels 1–12 and the stereo signal output from the master fader are sent to the computer (14 channels total).

It's supposed to have a dedicated master mix channel... have you installed the drivers?

yeah it has been working great with Audition.
today I took one of the 5 headphone output channels and connected it through the pc's mic in minijack port. Not perfect but is ok for streaming.

Hey guys, after trying it a lot, I was able to do that! Using a small software called "loopback" I can send all channels to OBS. Of course that OBS receives L+R, but I can mix everything on Zoom Live track 12.

After that, everything works!
