You could sort of do it by making a new scene and embedding your live scene in it. That would give you a single set of handles to resize your entire scene at once to do a zoom, but it would be very difficult to duplicate in realtime with that interface the kind of zoom you would normally do in post-production in an editing program, or through other means.
OBS doesn't have hotkeys or sliders for scaling or a way of keeping a source centered while it scales-- so it'd be clumsy at best.
Is there any recommended 3rd part software can do zoom and/ or pan while OBS recording? I have tried Window Magnifier & ZoomIt v4.5 but not very helpful.
In all honesty, it is easier to do in editing.
However, you can duplicate a screen capture source and crop/zoom it, then use a hitkey to enable and disable said source, but it isn't really recommended to have duplicates.
