How do you zoom in like in the associated clip?

Alt-click on your source to drag the handles and crop your source.

Right click the source in the preview window and choose Transform from the drop down and Fill Screen.

Thanks, but I figured out you can do it faster by pressing CTRL+F.

Also, CTRL+S can also be used to resize the source to the scene (while ignoring aspect ratio).
