Hey all,
I've been using OBS with Virtual Camera for about a year now as my video source for all my Zoom Meetings. I love how I can add overlays, upper and lower 3rds, and all manner of augmentations. I love this program!!
I wanted to let people know that I was able to SUCCESSFULLY get OBS Virtual Camera to feed to my Zoom app on Windows 10 Home after the 5.02 update without any issues. Like many of you, I was concerned because the Zoom update after (i think) 4.67 did not accept signal from Virtual Camera. I had reverted to an earlier version of Zoom and disabled the 'auto update' feature all through May 2020 to keep the functionality and enjoyed having OBS feed to Zoom through Virtual Camera.
When I heard Zoom was going to force an update for all users after May 30, 2020, I got nervous. I just did a test, and to my relief and joy, it still works.
I want to thank all the developers who have worked so hard in the background to keep these systems functioning! You are appreciated beyond words. I will be making contributions to the developer fund.
