YouTube VOD Forced to 30 FPS with NVENC AV1 (1440p60 Stream)

I saw a similar thread here: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/youtube-stream-no-longer-4k60-with-nvenc-av1.191093/

I was wondering whether a fix has been found for this yet.

I am using an RTX 5080 with over 1 GB upload speed, and the game I am playing is very easy to run. My OBS log files look fine. The stream itself is smooth and stays at 60 FPS while live, but once the VOD is uploaded to YouTube, it gets forced down to 30 FPS. Key frame is set correctly, I've checked everything.

I initially thought it might be bitrate-related. I tested AV1 at 6000 kbps and the VOD stayed at 60 FPS, but that bitrate is too low for my use case. I also tried 24,000 kbps, and it still ended up as 30 FPS. I am trying to stream a very fast-paced Korean game and would like to use the best codec available on my GPU. I also want to use 30,000 kbps, which is within YouTube’s max recommended range for 1440p60.

This is extremely frustrating, because everything looks correct during the live stream, but the uploaded VOD does not preserve 60 FPS, it just uploads as 30 FPS

I was unable to duplicate this in that thread. The stream and recording are all available in 60 FPS at 720, 1080 and 1440.

That's so odd, you used NVENC AV1 at 1440p and 60 FPS with a bitrate of 30000 and your vods are normal? I had to rollback my version of OBS quite far for me to get the above to work.
