Question / Help Youtube Streaming

Hello all,

I am currently trying to set up a live stream of an event through youtube. There is no issues on the youtube end as I've been able to set up the livestream and go live with it, however I am not able to get an image from my webcam or from my go pro. Both of which are usb connected.

I have also tried running it through Webcast and through FMLE which are both streamlined to be used on youtube however I am either too dumb to find the source windows to choose the output or its non-existent.
When I try and add a Video Capture Device on OBS the only option coming up is Wirecast Virtual Camera.

I am running the GeForce GTX 660 Ti graphics card however I do NOT have a video capture card installed in the PC, Is this possibly why I am unable to stream footage from a webcam/go pro to youtube through FMLE, Wirecast or OBS?

In a bizarre way I hope the option is simple and I'm just an idiot who missed out on toggling a button or activating something.

Thanks for any feedback you all might be able to offer.

Are you using the 32-bit version of OBS? If not, try it. Not all video capture devices have 64-bit DirectShow drivers and won't be listed in the 64-bit version of OBS.

You may also need to ensure that the latest drivers for your webcam and GoPro are installed.

The only way to capture a GoPro wired to a PC is through a capture card.
An alternative is to use a wifi method, which you can Google.
