Question / Help Yeti Mic and desktop playing in the same (desktop) channel.

Just like it says in the title.

I have desktop set to Default (and I have tried other the other 2 options - Realtek High Def and Hyper X 7.1) and my mic is set to Blue Yeti. Nothing is playing in the mic channel. :(

Any suggestions/help greatly accepted! :D
 
Hi all. Some extra info.

Basically, all sound is coming through the headphones - my voice, typing, game sounds etc.

Gain is set to minimal

I'm using windows 10 and have headset as my default output (I tried it with Realtek running and disabled but no luck) and my Ble Yeti as my default input (again,Ive tried this with and without Realtek).

In OBS Mixer - no sound is coming through the Mic channel. All sound is instead coming through thheadphones and displaying in Desktop sounds channel.

In OBS - I have tried setting headphone/output to both Default and also Hyper X (my headset headphones) and setting the microphone to both Default and Blue Yeti - still no sound coming through the Mic channel.


This is really driving me crazy - I've been trying to fix this for like 2 days now. PLEASEEEEEEE - can someone kindly help me?
 
One last thing - I've tried to set up the mic in windows but even after selecting it as default, the Mic Setup Wizard won't open and gives an error message. :'(
