So… I’m looking to start live streaming from my kids’ sports activities. It’s an ice sport, so the external temperature would always be at or around freezing.
I’d be using OBS and the Universal scoreboard to stream on YouTube preferably at 1080p60. I do not foresee any gaming or other streaming services to be used with the laptop. Definitely one and possibly two cameras will be streamed. It may not always be possible to have the laptop connected to the electric grid while streaming. Each streaming session would take 1-2 hours. My budget is flexible, but not looking to spend more than I absolutely have to.
So what advice would you give regarding: cpu, gpu, screen type, battery capacity and anything else that would be important? Do you even have a suggestion for a specific computer model?
