Yellow Border in OBS: [How To Get Rid Of it?]

Hey guys, I'm trying to get rid of the yellow border in obs which is very annoying and that's what causing the 1 second delay when switching between the scenes.

I'm using a "Window Capture" instead of "Display Capture" and if I set the cursor method to "Automatic" it has the yellow border but when I change the cursor method to "BitBit Windows 7 and up" my screen goes black.

If I use a display capture instead and go to the properties and set the cursor method to "DXGI Desktop Duplication" again my screen goes black. However, If I locate the obs file in the graphics settings and put the application to "Power Saving" mode and then run obs again then the DXGI Duplication method works and it gets rid of the border. However, it's using a lot more power when put to the Power Saving mode and doesn't work as efficiently as it would when running normally. I would prefer not to put it in the power saving mode as it slows down the performance.

But nothing works if I'm using the "Window Capture" option. When I change the cursor method from automatic to BitBit, the screen goes black... even if I put the obs to power saving mode and run again and select BitBit, it still goes black and I can't get rid of the Yellow Border.

Any solutions?

Nope. It's exactly as you described, all cases. You tried everything very thoroughly. You explored all choices. Choose the one that's the least inconvenient for you.

It's not a bug in OBS. It's just how Windows and screen capture on laptop hardware works.

Thanks! I have 2 scenes in OBS one is for my camera and the other one is for my screen. The first scene does not have any yellow border because it's just the camera, the other scene has a "Window Capture" where I'm showing my screen and this has the yellow border. So when I switch the scene from the camera to the screen, it has a 1 second delay where the screen goes black and then it shows the screen.

The only solution I found is to either get rid of the yellow border in the other scene, or put the yellow border in the first scene.

The yellow border comes with the window capturing. So you cannot put it around the webcam (Video Capture Device). The 1 second delay does not come from the yellow border. What kind of window is it you're capturing? Does the delay occur at every scene switch to it, or only the first time?
