Question / Help Yadif x2 Deinterlacing Flipping Fields

Whenever I try to use OBS's built in Yadif x2 deinterlacing on my 480i 29.97 fps video to make it a fake 480p 59.94 fps, The order in which the fields display per frame is flipped. instead of being 1, 2, 3, 4, it would be 2, 1, 4, 3. I tried using Bottom Field First instead of Top Field First, but that came out even worse. I'm not exactly sure why this issue is happening in the first place, if I try to deinterlace the same type of video using Yadif frame doubling top field first in VirtualDub it works perfectly.

I attached the logs from the latest session I tried this with, though I'm not sure it'll help much.

Anyone have any ideas?

At the moment this problem is relevant. We have only one way to correct double deinterlace: instead of Yadif x2 use Linear x2. I know the quality is not excellent compared to Yadif x2, but there is no other way out either.

I am the same when I use Yadif x2.
When "data/libobs/deinterlace_base.effect" is edited with a text editor, the deinterlacing behavior seems to change, but I don't know how to edit it.

environment:
OBS Studio 25.0.8
Windows10 1909
Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle (Video Connection: Compornent, 525i 59.94 NTSC)
