Question / Help Yadif x2 Deinterlacing Flipping Fields

Whenever I try to use OBS's built in Yadif x2 deinterlacing on my 480i 29.97 fps video to make it a fake 480p 59.94 fps, The order in which the fields display per frame is flipped. instead of being 1, 2, 3, 4, it would be 2, 1, 4, 3. I tried using Bottom Field First instead of Top Field First, but that came out even worse. I'm not exactly sure why this issue is happening in the first place, if I try to deinterlace the same type of video using Yadif frame doubling top field first in VirtualDub it works perfectly.

I attached the logs from the latest session I tried this with, though I'm not sure it'll help much.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

At the moment this problem is relevant. We have only one way to correct double deinterlace: instead of Yadif x2 use Linear x2. I know the quality is not excellent compared to Yadif x2, but there is no other way out either.

I am the same when I use Yadif x2.
When "data/libobs/deinterlace_base.effect" is edited with a text editor, the deinterlacing behavior seems to change, but I don't know how to edit it.

environment:
OBS Studio 25.0.8
Windows10 1909
Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle (Video Connection: Compornent, 525i 59.94 NTSC)
