Yadif 2x not doubling the frame rate

I'm digitizing some VHS videos and de-interlacing using Yadif 2X, but the resulting file is still 29.97fps. I captured using Yadif and Yadif 2X and both files are the same size and 29.97fps.

Output fps is set in the Settings->Video. Right now application cannot change the output frame rate on the fly. Use different Profiles (main menu) in OBS if you have intention to switch between different encoding settings too often.

Thanks. I had assumed that choosing Yadif 2X was going to double the frame rate upon export.
