Question / Help Xsplit/OBS Constant FPS - Audio Sync

Hello,

I'm currently a user of Xsplit Premium though I am reconsidering and thinking about making a move to OBS.

Long story short I've been streaming and then editing the stream footage into a more watchable youtube video. The issue is that the video seems to result in a variable FPS. After some digging I found out about Handbrake, some software that will force the footage into a certain frame rate. Even with this it did not quite do the trick. Then rather than downloading the broadcast I tried broadcasting as well as local recording. Same issue.

The video plays fine in VLC but as soon as I put it into Premiere the issue starts. For the first hour or so of footage it is completely fine, then slowly drops off. Only by 4 or 5 frames. It's far too much effort to move the audio track along ever so slightly to fix this. Surely I shouldn't have to?

If you guys can give me any advice if you have experienced the same issue? or if you feel this won't occur within OBS then I'll give it a go.

**NO LOG FILE to post at this time - just looking for some advice.**

Thanks in advance.
