Question / Help XCAPTURE-1 Composite "HDCP" Flickering

I realize this is not an OBS issue, but with the XCAPTURE, I'm short on resources for help.

When I'm capturing from a composite source (NES, SNES, N64 through Yellow/White/Red cable), the XCAPTURE occasionally flashes the "HDCP" screen for a frame or two.

It hardly occurs during NES capture, more often during SNES capture, but now my family has asked me to convert some old home VHS tapes to digital files for Christmas, and it seems to happen a ton during this process.

I've messed with several capture settings to no avail, but nevertheless, here's what I'm using for VCR capture:

Device Configuration
Custom Properties:
Video Deinterlace Method: Weave (none)
CPU Support: SSE3
Video Input: Composite
Audio Input: Line-In
Video Decoder:
Video Standard: NTSC_M
OBS Capture Configuration
Deinterlacing: Retro/scandoubling (Top field first)
Video:
Resolution: 640x480
FPS: 59.9405

Any insight as to why this "HDCP" screen flashes would be greatly appreciated! I'm not going to bother posting a log file because OBS is working perfectly; this is definitely a capture card issue. I am, however, working on uploading a sample of the issue to YouTube.

Thanks!
