Question / Help Xbox one Skype on stream

Hi , I was wondering if there was a way i could use the skype app from my xbox one and allow my stream to hear the skype call and me or is this not possible? Thank you and have a nice day!

The only way to do this that I know of is to use a proper video capture device connected to the XBOne. It will capture all sound coming from the system, not just from the game in use.

is there no way to do it with an elgato game capture hd ?

Yes, it should work fine with the Elgato as long as your firmware is up to date. Go to the website and download the latest drivers / firmware, and make sure all is okay with that.

Afterwards, in the HDMI audio settings int he Elgato's control panel, make sure you have your audio set to Stereo Uncompressed.

Should work fine. Just make sure the XBox One is set to output audio through HDMI and not any external devices.

ok so i went to my xbox one setting and it says hdmi audio stereo uncompressed, off, 5.1 uncompressed, 7.1 uncompressed, and bit stream out
