Question / Help Xbox One + AVermedia + OBS, my audio is not received

I cannot seem to find a definitive answer anywhere for this.

My gear:

• Xbox 1
• Skullcandy SLYR Halo Edition Headset
• AVermedia Live Gamer Portable
• HyperX headset (for PC, included here only in case I need another headset for a method to work

My Software:

• OBS
• LGP Stream Engine

I am able to pickup game audio from my xbox one and have it play through my stream. However, when I talk into my Skullcandy headset (plugged directly in to my XB1 controller), my voice is not picked up on the stream.

How can I play the game audio and capture my voice?
